Welp, it looks like I'm moving to Phoenix the first week of April, if all goes to plan! :D

So now my logistics challenge is my 1st truck-load of stuff... aside from that boring stuff like clothes and my computer, I want to bring basic tools, my 2nd set of wheels with my A/T's (gonna make the marathon drive on the stock street tires), and a jack, but I don't have a locking tonneau to hide all that from sticky fingers relieving me of the shit out of my bed when I stop for overnights. Even with a cable lock thru the tires I'm worried someone might get a hard-on for it and get creative.

Batshit crazy idea- if I can't work something else out like a POD or Uhaul, would someone in the greater Phoenix area be willing to "rent" a tonneau for about a week? Pull it off your long bed, ship it to me in PA, I use it to cover & lock my shit on the way down, once I arrive we can pull it back off and you go on your merry way a few bucks richer!

UHaul trailers are cheap @Nitori, then you can drop it off local and not worry about it. That's what I'd do.

Time to buy an adventure trailer... it's for the move! The RTT on it can be used to save money on a hotel.

I just looked at a uhaul, they actually have a cute little baby 4 foot tall one that would be plenty to lock my tools and shit in & still see over easily,

    but uh...

I don't have a tow hitch. My Taco is the Utility package which comes the rear seat delete & no hitch at all. I was planning on eventually getting a plate bumper with a hidden hitch.

Can't you put a trailer ball in the bumper? Wouldn't imagine the little trailer would be to much for the bumper pull.
