Yeah, I don't wanna be in that situation either. Imagine all the service members in the sandbox and those before them everywhere else. I don't think anyone in their sane mind *really* wants to kill anybody. Rough someone up for being an ass or for sport? Sure. Kill someone? not unless it was the last choice.

That was the plan for the last van. We're 3rd genners now.

Seriously though... never. The kids and wife will only want to take the van camping.

Yeah, it was crazy, When we posted photos from the grand canyon trip, he was warning me on facebook to not hang out with my "trucker friends" because they're trying to kill me. Maybe he thought I was afraid of heights when I did a dab on the north rim.

My older sister isn't the best decision maker, but she's since moved from Sausalito to SF and now has a normal boyfriend, and Crazy has since moved back to Greece so all is well.

Depends on how the Habitat works out. Thinking a box truck platform might be cool. Isuzu NPR? or Hino to keep it in the Toyota family. Then the the 98 t4r for trips that require crawling, the ExpoBox for serious gourmet glamping.

The Hab setup is supposed to be my portable gourmet, but I'm not married to it.

You could always build out the interior and not connect anything the the Habitat. If it doesn't work out, sell it and go @Iggy's route. Shell will swap right over and the sale of the Habitat will easily pay for the new one. Prices haven't been set yet, but you could walk home with some change...

I'd probably want to go for a full build at that point and rip out the bed. I don't want to deal w/ it splitting and the extra storage space of not having to deal w/ the bedsides would be a plus. I actually want to go with a DCLB frame instead though and replace one of the doors with a composite hatch so i can grab camera gear in and out of the vehicle faster. Driving and taking pictures is a major drag on a trip.

Composite hatch for easy side access would be cool, but there is an easier way...

It's my fault. Wife said "never" to minivans. I introduced her to them and she never looked back. Pushed hard to for a 5th gen T4R this last round and was quickly denied. They were $10k more, which was also a deciding factor. At least it has AWD.

And she's just leasing my balls with no option for a buyback. Not sure when the term ends tho... and she's really late on her payments.
