I see you like to write. Good on you.

Have you considered writing a book? Amazon has some very good self publishing ideas for getting published. Would most likely be the kindle version, but a book is a book.

I'll admit, since I knew I'd be getting a cap on my truck, I was very glad it came with a backup camera, makes it so much easier.

Not much on mods - Leer 180, TRD wheels, Mobtown sliders, rear hitch, helper springs on the rear
While the having the camera does make it easier to judge that last couple of feet between the rear bumper and whatever is behind the vehicle - don't forget to use the bloody side mirrors as well. A big heads up - pay attention to what surrounds a parking spot - before you start a parking maneuver, (i.e walls, pillars, steel posts and tree trunks).

Honestly, I'm glad that I have a back up camera - but I don't think that I could parallel park just using just the camera alone.

It was a Hyundai. I'm not sure of the model but that's probably right

Totaled, or just in need of extensive repair? It looks like it was driveable.

It was drivable but may be totaled. That wasn't even the at fault party, they have more damage on the side of the car where they were hit initially and got pushed in my direction.

A lot of people in Philly don't bother to get insurance.

My primary reason for avoiding driving in Philly is because I don't want my beloved to Tacoma to end up in the hands of those PPA bastards.

An older gentleman I know flipped his late 80s Volkswagen Jetta in a snowstorm. He didn't get hurt and the VW had very little if any damage. He managed to flip it over and drive it home.

My body guy said he was able to fix a Ford F150 that someone rolled back in the 1990s.

In 2001, when we were living on Whidbey Island, I saw a 1980s Nissan pickup that had obviously been flipped. The roof was noticeably pushed downward to one side and the truck had half-assed bodywork done to it. However, all of the glass was good and the truck had Washington plates with valid stickers.

Anybody ever get their vehicle fixed by insurance after flipping it, or buy it back from salvage and then fix it?
