Did your truck have factory satellite radio?
If I remember correctly I had some unused connections as well.

Your steering wheel controls will work. It should have been sent to you with the little switches on the box in the correct order.

What rca are you talking about?

    Oh I see.

The rca's on the crux should be for your backup camera?

You will need to use the rca's from the amp to the preout on radio.

Don't forget to mount your Bluetooth mic. I put everything back together and realized I forgot it so I had to take it apart again.

No it didn't work for me.

I clipped mine to the headliner by the mirror and ran the wire down the A pillar then to the radio. You won't notice it up there really.

Everything seems fine, but no steering wheel controls... Sounds so much better, and I haven't messed with eq settings

if I remember correctly, the adapter for the steering wheel controls has a red and white RCA, I actually had to buy and adapter that goes fom RCA to 3.5mm headphone jack and plug it into the Remote plug on the back of my pioneer

Mine doesn't work like it did factory.

Up/down does both track skip and fast forward/rewind. Center button and left right does nothing.

The end call button ends calls. Talk button does nothing.

The voice button when held down activates Siri and if you just tap it, it turns the volume down

its because the steering wheel control adapter. there are some out there that will allow everything to work properly. I was reading up on this in a thread about people who have earlier gen 2's with no right hand steering wheel controls and wanted to add it, like I will be doing. This one is suppose to allow all functions

yeah I think I'm going to get it, I don't have the right hand controls but it would be nice too. I have to pull everything out anyways because I forgot to ground the parking brake wire lol so I cant update my firmware or delete by BT connection history.

I tried to update my firmware once but it wouldn't work. I used the factory USB when I hooked it up and I think that is the problem. I believe I'll need to use the actual USB cable that the radio came with for the update.

its possible. I think it would depend on how the factory usb is connected to the HU, when you plug your phone into the factory usb does it connect to the HU? or does it only charge the phone?
