    I stepped on my dick last week when I drove into a parking structure. Destroyed my ladder and cover, and bent the hinges. Ladder+cover=$250:facepalm:

    Anytime! haha thanks man. I was just in Hawaii on the big Island for work in November. Went off roading on a lava field in a Ford Fusion... Too fun.
    Ouch man. I'm sorry. I'm always nervous. For now, I have been taking the Civic around. Probably gonna start using the 4runner less and less of a daily and keep it adventure ready. Going with a full roof rack down the line too so I can keep more stuff up there.

    I can't even fit in a residential garage with my tent OR an antenna on. Last week I forgot and bent a $100 antenna, lol.

    Lol I've done that so many times with my garage. I have about 2" clearance to fit

    Lol, you just reminded me that my clearance changed too. I'm curious if I got a full inch of clearance from the ridge grapplers

    EDIT: wait, that would be 0.5"

    Had a clunk for a while in the passenger side front wheel well. Couldn't figure out what it is. Well the other day I was under the truck and was shaking it around to figure it out and I finally found that I have a busted uniball in my UCA. Replacing it sometime soon and figured it would be a good time to give the UCA's a good service so I'm just gonna pull them, swap uniballs, swap bushings, and grease them up. Also got Icon Uniball covers for their UCAs so I guess we will see if those extend or shorten the life of the Uniball. Hope that this finally gets rid of all the weird noise.

    Parts going on:

    Icon Uniballs and covers from @HeadStrong Off-Road
    @allpro bushings

    Oh and I forgot that I bought Icon rear shock guards from @Kelvin to protect the shafts of my rear shocks from road debris. Pretty cool idea. Just a stainless steel plate. Hope this extends the shock life. Those things are gonna be pricey to rebuild.

    I realized that those wouldn't fit around my Kings lower rod end. The shock shafts on my Kings got sand blasted from only a few trips.

    That's one of the reasons why I switched to Icons on my truck. I installed those shin guards the day I installed my new Icons. Protect the shaft!

    New UCA Uniballs, Bushings, and Uniball Covers. Pretty satisfied. We will see if the Covers extend the life at all. No more clunking though! This is the first time since owning the rig where driving it is silent!

    Need to go about rotating my rear shocks. I notice the bypass tubes would hit the shock guards if compressed.

    @Kelvin think I need to remove the shocks to do that?

    For the second rotopax, should I go 1.75G water can, or 2G storage can to keep some recovery gear in? I'm leaning storage because I normally carry water to drink inside the truck and am planning on running a water tank on the roof for a shower.

    In my Tacoma I had a 10ft strap, gloves, 2 shackles, and an extension cord.

    I read you're trying to go to Moab sometime in the future this year. You planning on RT? I spoke to my wife earlier today and she said she might be down to go. We'd bring the trailer and turn it into a big camping trip along the way to Moab. Would be so cool to go
