So tacos are for tall people, just not tall passengers with short drivers in combination with a bench seat.

Is there a 3rd gen one yet? That's my only minor complaint but it's not too bad since you can fully extend it up.

I had a 1996 Nissan Pathfinder SE 4x4 before the Taco. My head almost touched the ceiling but I think this was partially because it had a factory sunroof. Sunroofs almost always decrease headroom.

I'm only 6ft tall and 210 lbs. But my scrotum looks like a 30 gallon white hefty bag with 2 basketballs in it. So I need lots of room.

He has a bench seat so if someone that's as tall as a child drives his truck for him he doesn't have much space.

I'm 6ft tall, and I drive a DCSB and a 4cyl regular cab like yours. Both trucks are fine for me, and I love that little truck. OP, did you do the seat recline mod? It helps a lot with comfort and headroom.

6'1", 320# and I fit just fine. A good friend who rides with me sometimes is 6'4" and about 190 and he's comfortable as well. Thank goodness for bucket seats with reclining backs...

This is true. My wife couldn't drive when I was with her.

I did a YouTube video on a 1993 Chevrolet C1500 Silverado I found. It had the original 5.0L/305cid V8 with about 260,000 miles on it at the time. A/C was still blowing ice cold and as far as I know it was still R-12. I had my Tacoma parked right next to this at the time 19-year old Chevy with the engine running and A/C on. The A/C in this almost 20-year old truck with almost 300K miles was giving the A/C in my 2-year old Tacoma with less than 20K miles on it at the time a run for its money. Keep in my I was just an immature 23-year old kid with a camera and I was ecstatic that I had been allowed to pretty much do with this truck what I pleased.
