I believe so. I think RockSolidToys was suppose to have a kit, but I heard about that years ago and still haven't seen anything yet

I dunno if it would work on a 2nd Gen, but 4wheel Underground has a 3 link kit that looks pretty slick (but then I'm not an expert)...

Put some roll arounds on it and took it off the jack stands. At ride height on these 33s, the frame height is 22 3/8" with 4" of up travel. The rear of the truck will come down some when I mount those 63s correctly and remove some leafs.

Haha, looks kinda funky with those bitty little tars. :D

So what's left? Hoops for the coilovers, coilovers, brakes, rear suspension, getting the steering gear hooked up to the pump and the steering wheel? Is he going with hyrdo-assist?

BTW, are you moving the Dipper around on the front end or did you get your flange?

Even though it's still a first gen kit? Seems like the fitting work would still be too much. Not that cutting brackets/making links is easy

I would think as long as the upper mount brackets fit on the frame, assuming there's no clearance issues with other equipment, they might work. I did email them the other day and asked some questions (like if they made the brackets for a drive's side drop) and they replied that they have several different brackets for various applications, so maybe they do have ones that would work with a 2nd Gen.

Be awesome if they had a kit that would fit.

Looks even funkier because the fenders are cut so high. If they were stock, it'd look a little more proportional :D

Pretty much all that stuff you mentioned is left, plus the transfer case situation and the crossmember for that, and just getting the truck running. I have the steering shaft to connect the column to the box, but since we still don't have the key to the truck, I am leaving that out so I can still turn the wheels and move the truck around. Not sure if he is going hydro assist at first, but eventually he will.

And I've just been moving it around with the front shaft in, fingers still crossed that the flange comes in this week.

I would not risk buying their 1st gen kit in hopes of making it work on a 2nd gen. Too much money for it to not work at all or to mod it a ton. I am sure they will have a 2nd gen specific kit sooner than later.

Yea I know it's a first gen kit. I just think it'd be "easier" to custom fab all of it instead of fighting parts that don't fit correctly in the first place :notsure:

You're going through with it though and making a ton of progress

Yeah, if you can make your own brackets, or buy them ala carte from different companies. I do like the link brackets in the all pro kit, but if you put them where they tell you to in the instructions, the back 2" will be floating because there is a bend in the frame. I'm about to post a pic of what I did yesterday in my build.

Sounds like Tim might end up having to rekey it, unless he's got the key code somewhere.

He can still get the key, he's just really busy... hell I only talk to him maybe once or twice a month, and see him less than that lol. I would get the key for him but I would probably end up getting in a fight with the original builder
