Wanted to let all know I am glad I chose a Tacoma :yay: Reguardless of all the negativity Toyota is receiving currently :smack: ,I stand behind them for the many excellent vehicles they manufacture, including mine :taco: The Tacoma is a great truck, with a variety of options, and tons of after market parts for the real customization. Lets hear it for what you like about your Tacoma.

Post with things you like about your Tacoma. There are plenty of threads for everything else.

I work on most every make and model of vehicle. I have years of reasons why this truck fit my wants and needs. It is meeting my expectations so far too.

    Nuff said.

Because the taco looks good both dirty and clean... and doesn't bitch about being abused... in fact it likes it.

I could not agree with you more. Bought this beauty on 3 Feb. Only has 401 miles on it.

I also own a 09 Yaris that I use as a commuter car. So no miles on the new Tacoma unless its my day off.

Well I love my truck. A guy driving a Dodge made a comment about Toyota while I was out to dinner the other night:

"I wouldn't drive my family around in that thing."

"Right, you'd rather drive them around in a vehicle that has had 4 times the recalls mine has. Would you like my cell number so that when your transmission fails I can give you a ride?"

That's actually a good point. What's the safest airline to fly on? The one that just crashed a plane because it is being scrutinized like nobody's business. Same thing here.

Of course, there is also the argument that the US govt., especially right NOW, is completely incompetent. Do we really trust them to guide us?

Don't want to be a douie downer, but have you checked yours out, the recall on the 2010 has lowered the resale.

Nice truck I bought and 09 looks exactly like yours dc longbed in the same color only I don't have running boards. I don. Regret buying this truck at all I have 1300 miles on it and did the first oil change yesterday upon looking under the truck and looking around while changing the oil I've noticed that everything is placed well and has room to work on not that I should have to do any major work other than normal maintinance.

I love my truck. Had a couple of Subaru Brat's and Chevy pick-ups, but both my Toyota's were a without doubt the best vehicles I've owned. If I buy a new truck, it will most likely be a Tundra. I plan on keeping the Tacoma regardless (almost paid for).

Very Doubtful..... Would like to see your numbers or reference on lowered resale value? :D

Seems a bit premature since the recall is a visual inspection of the driveline.
