    Word.

Don't want any of the eco boost complexity and the V8 is fucking quick.

Way faster than my previous full size V8 4x4 was with the same displacement.

Long is the 8' bed and double cab the Sierra used to come in. Try and park in one of those "compact" spots and half the truck is in the aisle. :D

Looks like I'm jumping aboard the scs bandwagon :D. Gonna be selling 5 fj trail teams 16" wheels. I rattlecanned em black, but they turned out real nice. One is still perfect, 3 have some rock rash, one got in a serious battle with granite. I'm either gonna sell em as is or clean up and repaint (and sell for more). Lmk if anyone is interested. I'll make you assholes a better deal here than I will in a fs thread

Edit- thought I was in cl thread. But leaving here anyway

    Haha It in the name!
    Found On Road Dead.

My dad still loves his fords. Even though we had to replace the turbo twice on the old excursion. He "upgraded" to the Raptor now. fun truck to drive but on long road trips idk how he justifies 13-14 mpgs

I drive a f250 work truck. It's 4x4 with rear locker. I prefer it over the chevy I had previously.

Messing around a bit because nothing better to do. Since I have a roof rack, and some bed bars for the RTT I don't have yet, I think I will go with this until the tent thing works out. Just trying to think of a way to mount it now without drilling into the bars20170205_115619.jpg

I've driven a lot of GMs, my Ford experience mainly limited (at least on their modern trucks) is an F550 Lariat Super Crew with a diesel. So.. not really apples to apples.

I have a GM now, it's 11 years old and is not holding up well and hasn't for several years. I prefer the looks of the GM trucks, a bit, but I really don't trust the mechanical longevity of the gas half ton trucks, and I don't think the interior materials are as sturdy either.

My old boss buys GMs and Fords and runs a new rig (or several) every few years, and he sold his 2500HD Duramax for a F350 Stroke because he felt the same way, GMs just weren't lasting as long as the Ford interior materials.

Ford is also a bit cheaper, and has better safety ratings. MPGs are a bit better as well than comparable GMs.

I mean, I got 2" of lift with my 5100s when I had them. These Triple bypasses only netted me like 1" :(
