Installed some door sill protectors today. Was worried the plastic bits would snap off the plastic covers but with a little wiggling and jiggling, they popped off no problem. Was also worried that the peel and stick adhesive wouldn't be "sticky" enough but wasn't an issue. Put the sill protectors on with a little heat from the hairdryer and voila, done.

Looks great, where did you pick these up? These look much better than the faux diamond-plate ones I've seen

Those are really nice, ive got some plain looking thick rubber ones that came on the truck when I bought it. they work and are better then nothing, but the ones you have there look like they cover more of the sill then mine so, and they also look better. I'm a sucker for things that say Tacoma on them haha

I didn't do anything today.... But some dickhead at the grocery store did.

Someone hit my truck in the Albertsons parking lot and left a big ol' mark. Sigh. No note just the usual hit n run. So frustrating.

Entire truck is blacked out.. emblems and all. But now I have a big white strip of gibberish on the bumper. Ugh

What company did you use in CLT and how long ago did you have the work done? That price is insane...

Quick question for those that deadened their back doors or front doors, did you remove the vapour sheild?

I would say no just because if you take it out then you really need to cover it back up with something else, Ive heard of people putting in plexi glass but thats a lot to do and it requires adding sheet metal screws to the doors..... So I plan on leaving mine and just going over it with the mat. But i guess its personal preference.

Yea your probably could, that shield is there to prevent moisture from coming into contact with your speakers and wiring is it not?

Up in Canada, we seem pretty limited for stuff, so Amazon is your friend. I liked the fact that they covered the edge.

    Found them as:
Genuine Toyota Tacoma Door Sill Protectors PT747-35161. Black 4 Piece Set 2016 Tacoma Double Cab.
