It's the lagoon double track project. They're putting in another track between cardiff and solana beach so that trains don't have to wait there between encinitas and cardiff to pass each other. Also replacing the bridge, putting a pedestrian underpass in the lagoon from the rios trailhead to the beach, and some other trail work. Supposed to take like 2 years!

Haha, I know I've seen a couple other 2nd gens. Just saw one parked on vulcan earlier this afternoon. Dcsb with a cap and an rtt.

 

So anybody down for a Superstition day on the 25th of Feb (this month) Im gonna roll off the couch and race in The King of the Desert a District 3 AMA race 1st one since 2008 in in D38.

Anyway would be cool to have some awesome people to come hang with and stuff, race should only be about 2 hours (100 miles) in the 250 expert "A" in morning and then I can go play! If anyone is down lemme know. Gonna e there for the weekend gotta get my bike dialed on Friday before race to set it up for different terrain than I normally run!
I normally race in Nationals and D37 stuff which is slower but more difficult!
So this race will be a lot of WFO stuff, sounds good to me!!

Hope to see some of you there Ill give more deets as time passes!

I just mentioned to my buddy that I kinda want to start racing again, and trying to get him to as well, so maybe!

 

I could try to rent a trailer and tow you back. Not sure how many people have a spare spindle lying around.

Had to leave her. Going to try and find a spindle at sd mini truck/pick and pull/ Toyota and head back in the morning. A friend said he'll go with me. Thank you guys for the help. I would have limped her back to the trailhead and called AAA but getting her down the trail would have broken way more stuff. It doesn't feel good leaving your truck somewhere.


Shortly after these photos the spindle fell off the uniball and I limped as far as I could holding the spindle to the frame with a ratchet strap.

 

Let me know if you need assistance heading out the the trail. I am off tomorrow and can make the trek with you if you need a ride. I just don't have any parts laying around.
