    Sick of carrying a tire in the 4Runner. Can't afford a swing out bumper at the moment. There's a local CBI fold down tire carrier for $200, worth the investment to mount my spare and hilift? Not too fond of the idea but I would like to get the spare out of the inside and keep it off the roof. Wouldn't be permanent either with plans to have a swingout

    Figure it'll look pretty similar to the pictures below

    I was looking at the same thing. Looks like CBI doesn't sell it anymore. Would be a good cheap solution till you get a bumper.

    For $200 why not? Pretty sure that's what LTDSC is planning on doing

    Figure $200 isn't a bad price. Can't find what they went for new. Even if I lose a few bucks on it when selling, it'll solve some of my storage needs

    Exactly. The other hitch one I've seen is over $800, so $200 isn't bad.

    He's got it listed for $225 shipped or $200 local. My guess on shipping would be more than $25? Think I could talk down?

    Never hurts to try. Have the $200 and try to talk him down. At worst you get it for $200.

    Would need to wire license plate lights, that'll suck. Could I tap into tail lights?
    Probably going to go on it to try and clean up the look of my rear end

    @4Running Daily

    Did your bumper require you to do license plate lights?

    Air lockers would be nice. Electronic are more reliable though

    Idk about the 4.0 but I'll probably need at least 4.88's with mine
