Baggin on the tacomas

So my friend has an 09 f-150 xlt. and i have my on 09 taco which btw just threw a 3' leveling kit and 31" nitto a/t. anyway, he tries to make fun of my taco all the time just cuz he has a full sized truck. gimme a few things that will show him that tacomas are way better than fords

 

Wait a year or two and then compare repair bills.

Being as Toyota is in the news everyday about safety issues and reliability, you might want to keep your mouth shut until things blow over.

 

I just saw on the shoulder of the interstate the other day a newer Chevy Tahoe being winched up unto a flat bed tow truck. Wish I could had stopped and took a picture to send to Howie Long and his little red haired girl friend.

 

All these safety issues have been with other model Toyotas, not the Tacoma. The Tacoma's front propeller shaft issue is a part that has been distributed to other Nissan and Ford plants as well.

 

What're you, 17? Why does his opinion even matter? And better than Fords at what? Every vehicle has advantages and disadvantages.

His truck will tow and haul better...while it's running. You'll whoop his ass offroad, especially in mud, sand, and snow. You'll get better gas mileage.
He'll have more interior room.

Yea I just bought a 09 Tacoma db lb and my Buddies where busting my balls that it's not a "real" truck until I put the 1000 miles on it and raced them then they shut their mouths lol I beat my friends z71 silverado with the 5.3. Now instead of calling it slow they just give me the gas pedal junk.
