What I don't get is that most people are still giving him positive feedback on something that they say doesn't work. Most of the comments are about "fast shipping" hardly any of them actually comment on the "chip" itself.

    She's gone but not forgotten.
Remember back when Radio Shack sold packs of resistors, they were five for a buck? I went in and found one pack of the value I needed and one was missing out of it. Someone actually stole 20 cents from Radio Shack (how'd you like to stand in front of a judge and plead guilty to that?).

Pointed it out to the sales guy...he says "yeah you'd think the things were ten bucks a piece".

Now I know there really are people who think they're worth 10 bucks a piece!

As unethical as this deal seems it probably does work and do exactly as the guy says it does. Nowadays things on our engines are controlled by the ECU. Fool a sensor that the ECU uses to control something and you will get some other reaction not normal. So what he is doing is fooling the ECU into thinking the Intake Air Temperature is cooler than it really is so the ECU instructs the injectors to add just a wee bit more fuel and the timing to change slightly to increase power.

Personally I will take mine the way it is with it's good gas mileage for what it is, a truck. This mod will most likely DECREASE MPG as the ECU will be injecting more fuel than is really needed. It might be interesting to experiment with things like this. Have it on a switch where you switch the values to see what the engine does. I am not about to mess with my $30K computer on wheels though in this fashion.

Last time I bought something on eBay I got a notice saying your couldn't leave negative feedback for sellers anymore (maybe buyers too). WTF is up with that? No more neg feedback means any crackpot can sell crap on eBay and no one will know they aren't worth dealing with. Stupidest thing I'd seen in a long time.

E-bay, sellers can't leave negative feedback from buyers. Buyers can still leave neg rep.

Yeah, at first I thought it was weird that they would do that. But from experience I saw that whenever buyers had a problem with a seller and left them negative feedback the seller would turn around and give the buyer negative feedback which is screwed up if the buyer did nothing wrong. I haven't had it happened to me but I saw it in many cases.

ah. ok that must be it then. I just kinda skimmed the notice before leaving feedback for a seller.

That's why when I buy something, I always make the seller post feedback first. Since they are the first one to know whether the deal is good or not, then they should be the first to post feedback. If they refuse to do it first, then they don't get any feedback from me either.

It happened to me, a great change in policy IMO. I gave seller a neutral because the product was dirty. And she slammed me with a negative. A powerseller with a fragile ego.

You know, it cracks me up everytime I see that stupid tornado advertised on Horsepower TV and the Power Block (Trucks, Xtreme4x4, etc). Or at least advertised in between parts of the shows. I mean, they switch the commercials to mostly auto accessories, and I always laugh when the Tornado one comes on. Like there aren't enough people out there saying it's crap for them to get sued into oblivion for false advertising, or the people behind The Power Block shows to not air it/recommend it.
