@Taco No Baka how do you want to do the groups this time? Same as we did in October?

 

Well I think the thorny taco is about as good and ready as it's gonna get for this weekend went ahead and treated him to some good synthetic oil as well new gear oil in the tranny plus finally got around to finish wiring the rest of my lights in

 

Yeah, that's what I was thinking, but the 'lite' wheeling group might need to be subdivided into two or so groups. There's gonna be a lot of them. Heck, we may end up needing to divide the Hardcore group as well depending on how many meet the requirements.

For those that haven't seen the requirements yet, they are:
A) 33s or better for 4wds, 35s or better for 2wds
B) not concerned about pinstriping
C) be willing to keep up with a moderately fast pace (35-45mph down tight trails)

We've found it works best if we keep the group sizes down to 10 trucks max.

This applies to Saturday during the day only. The Friday afternoon ride, the night rides, and the final ride on Sunday are open to everyone.

WTF, brah? How much work is it to drive around at the head of the pack, in the dust free air?

Besides, you're in the Hardcore group, which I usually end up riding point for. I tried being the rear guard back in October, but I ended up being called back to the front of the line anyway, haha.

 

Lol leading means I've got to choose where we go and I just want to follow every one else around lol but I'll bring up the kaboose

 

I don't wanna lead either.

 

I'm not worried about pinstriping, but I don't wanna haul ass down the trails either. I'll take a group if you need me to. I'm familiar with the layout of the area.

Haha, up to you. Hauling ass is relative though. We do have some adrenaline junkies *cough*Frank*cough* that like doing 60+ if given a chance. That's a little too risky for me personally though. 35-45 is moderately fast, just enough to smooth out the bumps, which is about as fast as I really want to go.

However, if you are more comfortable leading a "lite" group, then that will work out good. Your group seemed to have fun back in October and that's my goal. I want everyone regardless of experience level, or how mild or wild their build, is to have fun.

 

I'll take a moderate group. There will be pinstriping and general fuckery that occurs. Put me down as a group leader. We'll probably have to run 3 groups with as many people it looks like are attending.

 

Do we need to make a list of who's going with who before hand?

Consider it done. I don't really know if there'll be a non-pinstriping group or not though. Last year it didn't seem like anyone really cared. I'm almost tempted to suggest having a drivers meeting, but I suspect that'd be pretty much exactly like herding cats.
