What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Did you peal off that plastic barrier and then put it back? Or did you put the stuff over it?

I just ordered an RTIC softpack 30 for the day trips this summer. They are having a nice sale right now (possibly due to the YETI lawsuit?), FWIW.

I appreciate the heads up. I have a magna flow that dumps out in front of the axel. So when it hits that RPM range it's a brural rattle.

ok, this might not be the correct place for this but I'm running out of daylight. I decided to replace UJoints because of a vibration in driveline, plus I have the tell tell grease line going across the underbody in 2 places. got shaft out, got rear UJ out but the new Ujoint is just a tad too big and won't go in.. I haven't messed with UJ's since the age of 17 and i remember what a pain they were. I thought about taking both caps off, getting UJ in then put cap in from outside sliding UJ into it so bearings don't go everywhere and tapping it in followed by the other side, but I'm not sure if this is a smart move.
Has anybody installed UJ's? (rhetorical) and had this same problem and how did you resolve it? I have tried every which way to get it installed other than what I referenced because I have watched videos where it would only go in one way, but no joy.

How did you get yours? I tried messaging tcBob, but i imagine he's really busy, and on top of that has tons of messages to go through.

 

How did you attach them? Velcro?

 

It just takes awhile. But it's free so you can't complain.

 

They already have Velcro backing. They stick to the headliner no problem.
