That is great to hear! I love the idea of still being able to use my roll up tonneau with these bars for a nice clean look. If you happen to get Truxedo cover on with bed bars I would love to see how much clearence it has if any from the bottom of the second bar (I know it will clear under the one bar furthest back on the bed. Thanks again and great looking setup.

Just ordered a rooftop tent... then realized I needed something to put it on. These will fit the bill perfectly. Just put in an order.

Love this, this is what I was looking for, though..

It'd be perfect if it was a bit tighter and not so tall or wide.

Then people would ask for it the way it was before. Can't make everyone happy...

Did you make the graphics yourself? If so, that's some dedication.

On the other hand, I got mine last week and finally put them together. I couldn't get the brackets very tight with the "security bolts" but they look really good aside from that! Now I just need to wait for my truck to get back from the collision repair shop in like a month...

Yep, it took 5 minutes of my time, heh. As another poster have said, "I'd unlock the jaws of life on my wallet" if these were a bit tighter, shorter and not as wide.

These were made the way they for a few specific reasons.

    Height

    1) There had to be enough clearance under the bar for at least one fold of the factory tonneau cover.
    2) There has to be enough room to get your arms under an RTT to get it mounted.

    Width

    1) It had to be wide enough to accommodate a wide variety of covers, especially the factory cover.

So, it can't be any shorter, and it can't be any more narrow.

@KB Voodoo how did you attach your ski rack to the bars? I just found out that mounts that came with mine don't fit the bars

I bolted mine right up through the bottom. Only a light bit of modification to the ski racks.

What type of bolts did you use? I'm thinking the 'system' that holds the supports to the bed rail may work to secure the ski rack to the bars as well, bolt through the bottom and a locking bar thing inside the ski rack itself.

A single is $179, so times two that would be $358.

    A full set is $319.
