Any of you smart people want to help me out and give me some info on how I can possibly fight the local dealership if they deny my warranty claim on a wheel bearing being jacked up because I have a lift on the truck or that I have rock rash on the tire aka "hit a curb"

Last time I wheeled was at Barnwell and the issue only started the last 4 days. I thought it was a tire PSI issue, but checked that and all was good yesterday.

Suspension lifts do not effect warranty. Only body lifts. I specifically asked this when I bought my current TACO and made sure they meant body lift voids it. So you bought used rims with a scratch no big deal. How many miles are on your Hoebag?

78k, I am still however under the Certified Pre-Owned 1 year warranty though, or at least I should be.

But good to know on the suspension lift stuff!

Got a call from Dealer, said they checked over everything and they do not think it is wheel bearing but that the tire has worn incorrectly. They drove it and put it on the lift and checked it out and told me to get a cross rotation done and a rebalance of the tire and did not charge me for the diagnostics. So will get that done and see if it continues.

It sounds like tire whine, but more of a whine, whine, whine only at once spot when driving that gets worse while I drive.

Like a hum? Does it begin around 25-45 mph?
Mine does it around this speed with cooler temps. I know it's a bearing/bushing in the front diff.
Mine goes ......hum.....hum....hum....hum...hum....hum...hum, through 45ish mph.

Hmmm, doesn't "sound" like any noise I've experienced with a bad wheel bearing, usually that's a constant low rumble, but I'm sure its possible. I could see the uneven wear on tires though. My front tires were worn bad when I drove it to long with bad tie rods and they made an orchestra of bad noises.

yeah, that thing. Have to make time to replace it. Want to replace the carrier bearing first, to make sure tht it is for sure the needle bearing.
    Pretty sure it is, though.

No, it begins at like 5 mph, going to see if it goes away with a rebalance and rotation on the tires. If it does then good, if it continues and still comes from the right front, then back to the dealer.

They looked over everything, or at least said they did and only said that it looked like the tire was not wearing correctly.

What did you use to pull the bearing out? A jaw puller, like the one I rented when we changed the pulley seal?
