nothing worse than getting balls deep in grease and having to go dig through your tool chest to find that certain socket or pair of snapring pliers!

What we thought was a simple tape seam patch job, was much more. Had to screw in new wood, new sheetrock, and fix adjacent sagging issue- from DR Horton, lol.

Having a contractor do that and some painting.

Ahh yes that would be difficult for me too... I'm just gonna pass on the sliders for now... I just hate my cheap chrome tube side steps (like pep boys quality stuff) and after seeing how expensive even used OEM stuff is, I might as well just get the bolt on sliders and be ready for anything lol not to mention I'd probably ruin the body where my current steps are bolted into if it gets caught on something offroad. Might just take them off completely but the girlfriend would have a hard time getting in and out and i do like being somewhat protected from door dings

Crack along one edge of tape seam for about 12' or so. One side of the drywall only had one screw per rafter, under the tape. Was not enough to handle the weight, thus the linear crack and sagging.

We bought the house new, just been living with it- for way too long. Shit show from the builder.

that sucks man. I always hate to hear about builders cutting corners. its happening more and more often by the big guys. but hell, 100 screws saved per house over 1000+ houses means $ saved. I just hate seeing it.
