    I think if you get the alignment better you shouldn't need to get into the firewall. I beat my pinch weld and firewall in with a 4lb sledge, and I'm completely clear. The only place I rub is along the corner/seam at the top under full compression. I need about a 1/4-3/8" spacer on my bumpstop and that will be solved. It's such a minor issue though I'm not too worried about it.

    Still have it set for mega-caster, never did the formula to figure an exact number. I believe I can come off 2° or 4° and still be positive. Dropping four degrees would probay give me at least .75" more clearance with the firewall.

    Doesn't caster move the tires forward, therefore further away from the firewall?

    Meaning less caster would put you more in the firewall?

    this is my understanding from what I've read when I was setting up my LR ucas.

    Increasing caster from the LCA increases clearance at the rear of the well by pushing the bottom of the tire forward. However, increasing caster at the ball joint (pushing the top of the tire forward) will reduce clearance at the back of the well.
