I purchased a used 2007 Tacoma in August and it has the 3 leaf in the back. Can I still get in on this TSB? I'm at 40k but I bought the truck from a Toyota dealer.

I had mine done, but I had just took delivery and when I called and asked about this TSB the service person said " did you you hear about his on the internet" I was like what the heck does it matter ?
I bought it to haul wood among other things and this is bs being shorted on the carry capacity .

They gave me the old load it up and bring it in bs - I told them to come out and load 1000 pounds of wood into it test it and then come back and unload it - WTH ? It is 1000 pounds dip stick

They were PO'd but accepted defeat gracefully and did the swap out - (good for them or I would have had buyers remorse and turned it back in I have three days in my state )

Toyota was a real pain to deal with on this and it really grated me to have to go through all this to get " it right "

Will they do the tsb on my truck if i have a 2inch spacer in the front?
If they do, will they replace it on the new shocks?

Really was difficult? I have '10 purchased in Dec. The week it came out for '10 I called Yota and they said yes it was covered. So I took in the TBS to dealer. Week later the springs were installed. Nothing more than that. Now since yota keeps looking worse and worse who knows. You would think they would want to keep the customers they have. They are not selling new vehicles right now.

You want to know something I think a lot of it depends on who you get- some people at the dealership act like this repair is coming out of their pocket ?
It is the same thing when I deal with minimum wage bots, they will die for the company and screw the customer - they have no clue why they just are min wage bots with no common sense

took mine into the dealer today for the inspection for the tsb. mine is a 2010 w/ only 1500 miles on it and told them it was bottoming out with heavy loads and had a harsh ride. They took a look at it, approved it, but had to order the parts so i gotta wait a little bit. Looking at TSB T-SB-0305-08 Revision 2 for 2010's and having a 4x2 Prerunner I thought I was only getting the extra leaf but they told me they ordered new shocks as well. Will that mean I'm getting upgraded to the Bilsteins that come with the trd package? or just normal stock shocks?

I have an 06 with 47000 miles on it. I called the customer care number and they told me I needed to talk with the dealership to have it diagnosed. Called the dealership and first question was what my mileage is, and when I told him he got all rude and said I was out of coverage and that they couldn't do it, but I could just pay out of pocket, which would cost around $2000.

Should I keep trying or am I SOL?

i would, it has nothing to do with warrenty rather that they put cheaper parts on to save a few bucks. start unloading about their reputation and see what happens.

Try a few different dealers. And keep calling the 800 number and complaining.

I can't really try any other dealerships cause they are all at least 200 miles away.

I called the 800# again and complained about the service tech being so rude, and the 800# guy made up a case and is having the info sent to the customer care tech at my dealership, and that I should be getting a call from him within 3 days. Basically from there I have to set up an appointment and prove that my truck has the problem. Where it goes from there I don't know.

Sounds like they are just going to take me for a ride hoping I give up.

I have been dealing with dealer for the longest time. I have complained to them about this for a long time but no answer, finally I saw the rear suspension TSB than I said gotcha motha Fuc@#!
then I called them back and back went to all the dealer. because I had 60k miles by then they said it was past the factory warrantie and the exracare said it wasnt a mechanical failure.. bunch of bull shit, finally after 4 dealer I said to them well get get flipped out everyday from people in front of me because they thisk I have my long beams on, other things I said was Please record my complaint because Once I get into an accident I will make sure I will go after everyone including the dealer ship,
I got a call later that day which they said they will fix the rear springs but wont pay for the shock, well then I said ok I pay for shock from pocket since I had 65k on old ones and they pay the labor. Thank you everybody for keeping people posted.
Also What I do now is I tell everyone even people on the street about This TSB as a punishment to TOYOTA. we should all do the same.

you should'nt have to prove nothing, all they have to do is cross reference the part # of the susp. you have with yhose they're haveing problems with. you should'nt have to pay for nothing!
