I normally get 15.5-16 in my truck no matter highway, mixed or city. Sometimes I can get 17 if I drive a whole tank on the highway at about 55-60 but the interstate kills it even just driving 75.

 

so far. and its 10pm now. supposed to continue until 0700.

haha. only delay for work so far has been pushed to 0900....im so worried about all the other drivers im gonna face tomorrow morning on the 2 lane hwy back road I take to work

Where is a safe and clean hotel to stay at in the Arlington area of Memphis?

 

not really any in arlington that i can think of. Gotta come a little closer down 40 but I've never stayed in any if those.
Only hotels I've been in around memphis are 30+ minutes from arlington.

There's quite a few in the wolfchase area which is a mere 5-10 minute drive from Arlington. Depends on where in Arlington you're going.

Well, it's been an anxious month waiting for all the pre-hire BS to go through, but the first day of the new job was a success! The commute to downtown Nashville is a PITA, and coming home is going to be worse. I drove by Dave's place to avoid sitting on I-24 during the drive home tonight, the extra 10 miles was worth not sitting in bumper to bumper traffic! The time difference was probably a wash.
