True. Tracks great this way. The extra caster seems to take care of it.

I'll ad my numbers as im pretty clueless on alignment. I'll bet in my 30yrs of driving I've had a vehicle aligned twice, lol. 622f4951b313a76b137dc4b90fc1a93a_a1eadc7d18fe8138cfbcc5315fa224070f7f28a9.jpg

Can you further explain this? I'm having a hard time understanding this because the crown of the road can be either to the left or right. Are you setting it up so it goes straight with the crown to the right (in the right lane) and if so then wouldn't that make it pull hard to the left when the crown going to the left.

Same setup and here's my sheet. Agreed that you need a good tech. I tell my guy the numbers I want and he does the best he can. Then he drives the truck to make sure he's happy with it as well. No "green is good enough" for him.image.jpg

For the most part, road crown is to the right. Sure there may be some roads where it is to the left, but it is much more common for the road to slope off to the shoulder, not the oncoming lanes (unless of course this is different in different parts of the country that I am unaware of) And even so, a half a degree of cross caster to the left isn't going to cause a "hard pull" regardless of the road you're on.

Did you even bother giving him the #'s you requested from us? My guess is no & that's what they're going to do most places if you just say 'align my truck' so that's on you.

Yup, after dealing with big brand doing an alignment and having to go back a couple times to get shit right, i took the time to find a PROPER alignment shop. The guy had been in the business for 30+ years and knew what the hell he was doing.

So when it came time to replace my UCA's with some lightracing ones (cus caster numbers were not good with stock uca's at 1.75in setting) i went to the good alignment shop.

The guy spent 2 hrs with me getting everything DIALED in. IMO dont worry about road crown, as some roads dont have it, some are cambered differently, idealy you get your stuff exactly the same on each side.

Also.... ideally negative camber ONLY (if you must, no more than 0). Dont go positive to get caster numbers, if you are, you need UCA's, unless you want a funky looking front on your truck and the outside of your tires to wear way fast.

My alignment guy got me 3.4* caster, .1* toe and -.4* camber on both sides, and the truck drives like a god damn freight train now, and i dont have the UCA hitting coil any more!

I wasn't sure the order of things and thought you asked us for help on what #'s to request and then went in and didn't request anything from the alignment shop. If you go in and don't specify they get them in the green which shouldn't even be 'green' IMO as you can end up with some pretty shitty ride quality and still be within the green if you get someone who doesn't care about the work they turn out which is all-too-common in these alignment shops that make more money the faster they can crank them out.

This post. You asked us for alignment #'s and we gave you them. See my previous post as I wasn't aware you had already had your alignment down prior to posting this thread. If you said that I missed it or I'm confusing this with another thread. Either way, not a big deal and not worth derailing the thread over.

Yea I posted my alignment numbers to show the results with a 1 1/2 of lift in hoping to help the OP. 'I'm glad I did because I've learned a ton of good feed back from you guys. As of yesterday I didn't know what good alignment numbers were. Now I have a clue and can go the shop with confidence and real numbers.
Once again thanks for help and i really like your truck build!

That's where the confusion lies because at some point I thought you were the OP and that's where my confusion stems from.

King ext. coilovers set @ 2 inches. Icon progressive AAL. Total Chaos UCA's. Allpro ext. front break lines. TRD black beadlock style wheels. TRD shift knob. Jumpers red interior LEDs. 3M 30% front window tint. Wet Okole's in front(black/light grey full piping). Color match grille. Tacoma bed mat.
I'm having a similar issue with my driver side, but it's way off. Could it be the LCA? Driver side caster is maxed out at 2.6 with 0.3 camber. Passenger side caster is 3.3 with 0.1 canber. Running ext kings w/ tc ucas. About 2-2.25in lift
