Morning gents (and maybe lady if she shows).

I'm rapidly approaching the end of my night shift until June. I'll finish tonight, work tomorrow night then again Friday and be off to a noon to 10:30. Can I still visit?

By all means. I bounce to the day shift every 2 weeks, but often comment at the start of said day shift around the 4 am point.

Nope, you'll have to go away for ever and ever,.

    Lucky you!
I'm still waiting for the new hire so I can transition to days. It's been two months and all they've done is narrow it down to a few. Just started background checks. Ugh

Nice nice. I'm a bubble guy on the shift bid. Little less than 6 years in job family so I'm pretty sure I'll bounce back to nights next bid (every 4 months). Some of these dudes have 40 years. I hope I don't EVER match them in seniority. Of course I have ZERO interest in being at work at 7am or before so I'll stay afternoon or nights for life.

I wish there was a swing shift for us. But then that'd mean I'd be working 5 days instead of 4. But noon to 9 or 3 to midnight would be nice sometimes

I like it. I did what we call late days for a year or so before midnights. It was 9a to 730p 4 days a week. That's about as early as I wanna start. Gives me time to do shit at my house before work.

I liked 10s, did them for close to 10 years. Ours were 3:30pm - 2:00am.

I've done 10s for a good while...I like them too. And 3:30 to 2a is sweet.

I'd love 10's...hell even 12's or 16's. I'd rather work fewer days because I don't do jack shit on the days I do work anyways.

my coworkers aren't smart enough to handle a 5/2 nevermind a rotating schedule. Sick calls have been off the charts on every shift except ours. Cabin fever season.

Anyone else have the classic "coffee cup holder snafu" yet? Pulling up the coffee, that stupid ass insert comes with it, gets caught on the radio or something, cue said snafu here, which results in EVERYTHING except my all weather rubbers mats to get covered? Fml....

Dude I accidentally threw out those inserts SO many times on my 2011. At the gas station, cleaning truck out while I pump gas, throw away whatever soda cup was in the cup holder, drive off, look down, realize I'm missing an insert, drive back to gas station, dig through trash to find said cup with insert on the bottom of it still.
