It's pretty fluid. I'll be there at about 1030 or so. Be leaving the house here in North Tampa a little after 0900 (after rush hour).

@Jon4x4 and a few other folks are meeting up on the north side at 1100 before heading in, IIRC (slept since then).

Basically, the people on the list now, aside from the posse Thorny Mike is rolling up with (Cody and the heavy chevy), are people that were in the group back in October.

Last October was the first time we've tried having an exclusive group with actual requirements for admission. Far as I know that hasn't been done since you and I first started coming to the Annual meets. The reason you weren't automatically put on the list was because of my crappy memory. I thought you met the requirements (2wd on 35s or better), but I wasn't 100% sure.

That's why I don't wheel or camp in the summer. I'll grant you, it's going to be better than the Camp & Ride temperatures, but it's freakin' winter; I want weather that at least requires me to wear a flannel shirt all damn day. :p

I did mention I was going to be intensely disappointed if it wasn't cold. 78* is not cold--it's shorts and t-shirt weather. :frusty:

Hopefully quickly enough that we can enjoy the campfire without being too dang hot.

Exactly! I remember back in the day you had to go out and start your vehicle early so the heater could melt the frost off the window before you had to leave for work...and the neighbors having to run their sprinkler to let the ice protect their bushes from the cold...which formed some lovely icicles...like a little scene from up in the frozen north.

The last time I saw frost on my windshield was when I lived in Atlanta for a couple years back at the turn of the millennium. Haven't seen it here in Central Florida for a good 25 years or so...let alone have it be cold enough for icicles to form from running a sprinkler.

But yeah, at least Friday should be nice and cool for most of the day.
