I know with my truck once I pass 120km/Hr the fuel economy goes down real quick.

I have my truck up 2 inches and on duratracs 'C' load and am still getting 12.5L/100. Shifting around 2500rpm.

Saw your Seattle pic on Toyota BC today. How much they paying you for that photo?

 

My city driving consists of 15km each way, to and from work. There's one light on the drive, I have the drive down to the point that I can leave at X time and hit the green light perfectly.
My Highway is 100+ km/H over multiple hills and mountains. (Victoria to Tofino). Normally I would fill up Sunday, top of Friday night, and then use that tank over the weekend.

 

Ah, I keep my highway under 120 typically that explains it.

I hit 11.8L/100km on last two commutes, city but deerfoot and Stoney trail so lots of Highway speeds. I think this was due to warmer weather.

 

going to and from Coquitlam to Squamish on a full tank with 265/70r17 Ko2's on 4Runner trail edition wheels (heavy bitches), with tomfoolery in between, tank average is sitting at 13.0L/100km. these things are so damn efficient

 

Does anyone have a pdf of the rev1 in Canada? TCI-4419 rev1?

I am at the dealership and they are saying there has not been a revision since the original. I'd like the PDF to show them it has been available since Dec 20, and to show the difference between updates.

Did you notice any difference in Rev 1 from the original update?

 

Oh ya my truck drives so much nicer, holds gear going up hills now, virtually no shift hunting and it seems my fuel economy went up a tiny bit too

 

I drive a lot for work and average 11-12L/100 as low 10.6 sometimes. That's with 265/70/17 wrangler AT/S and drive usually 105 ish on the highway

Think I just got rev 2... complained about the downshift *thunk* and the guys at Westminster Toyota did a little research, told me that there was an Engine and Transmission flash available for shifting problems and that they'll give it a shot... both #s now end in 300.

Haven't had much chance to drive it but I'll be spending a solid hour on the highway tonight so we'll see what cruise control does now

 

Has anyone in Canada had TCI-4419 Rev 2 done on a 2017 Tacoma? It seems most dealers are telling everyone it only applies to 2016 models.

I get it sometimes. Any chance you have your repair order? I'm going in to Regency Toyota on monday to get my post delivery inspection done...would like to see if they'll do the tsb.
