    They're doing really good. Between those and the front tundra brakes the 35s and whole truck have no problem stopping. I might need to adjust them a little better though as the rears lock up way before the front but I've heard that's what you want. Only suck part is no e brake.....but I've got a manual line lock I'm going to put in the cab. Like most of us I hate brake lines and all that goes with it. I have to reroute the line into the cab so I can get the ebrake/lock to work. On my to do list, but at the bottom of it for now. Overall I really like them! I would've had to buy all new brakes and drums for the rear so it was just as cost effective to get the discs.

    Don't use the line lock for long periods of time.....get a electric one.

    Manual line locks you CAN use for extended periods. Electric line locks are only short time use because they require current to hold the actuators pressure. Electric line locks are only used for short periods mostly for heating tires/burnouts.....otherwise you'd tax your elec. system and burn it out.

    With the dmz kit, has anyone been able to keep the stock parking break intact? I'm assuming that it will probably be too short?

    That's not true. The reason why is because the constant pressure in the brake system will bleed and leak over time. It's not safe.

    What kit is it?

    I'll have to do new brakes on my T100 axle so thinking about this.

    no Ebrake does suck though.

    Trail Gear makes the kits and pretty sure they supply everyone else. I've seen an LCE one and All Pro but believen they are Trail Gear. Ran right around $400 shipped to me.....

    You've ran one so you'd know better. From all the research I did I was told not to run an electric. I want to use it as an actual e brake for everyday parking. Haven't been able to remote start without it. An electric would be SOOOOO OOOH much easier to set up.

    I never use my e brake here in the winter though. Always freezes on..just park it in gear.

    I'd want it when wheeling and wanting to stop on a hill and get out without turning the truck off every time.

    No issues here with the parking brake. I think everyone else is talking about when they change the entire diff or switch to disc brakes without an internal parking brake or a caliper with a built in parking brake.

    Oh I didn't even realize there was another conversation going on about e brakes.

    My question was just random lol. So did you just keep it routed down the driver leaf, similar to how it is stock?

    I would never leave the truck in nuetral and use a LL. I only used it when I needed to leave the truck running to hop out real quick.

    Lol yeah I just routed it down the driver leaf and attached the factory eyelet to one of the bolts on the clips of the leaf springs.
