It'll get you home without messing up your drivetrain. For that same reason I haven't gotten rid of my stocks spare yet

 

Never really understood how different size tires on a short trip would ruin your drivetrain on a truck with open diff's.

 

For the same reason they tell you not to put an unevenly worn set of tires on a subaru. Its not good for it in the long run.

 

Subaru is AWD so that would make sense. The system is active and searches for the wheel that isn't spinning at the same speed. Not really equivalent to a pickup with an open rear. Sure the spider gears will spin because of the different wheel speed but that happens everytime you change lanes or go around a corner. I don't see how driving 50 miles with a mismatched tire will do anything. With an LSD, I could see if being a problem. Anyway, if anyone has some clarification on exactly what the issue is, please feel free to correct me.

 

Got my @Mobtown Offroad tailgate reinforcement plate today! I'll be installing as soon as I get the tailgate cap. Soooo Mobtown, how would one go about getting a Mobtown decal?
Edit: The only one I saw available for purchase involved buying the cleat rail nuts.

I have a mechanical LSD in my rear diff and i wouldn't do it personally.

I've got the small one. I want the larger vinyl one they have on the site with the cleat nuts. The small one will get dwarfed by the other stickers in my bed. Gotta represent local!

 

We stopped buying he large vinyl ones. They're expensive as crap. So we went with the smaller ones.
