    Yeah that's what I'm hoping to avoid. At least I'll be able to clock the line spool knob when I take it out.

    According to the invoice the PO gave me with the truck, this winch is 4yrs old, as it and the bumper where purchased at the same time in 2012 from 4WP.

    Makes sense. I heard that's about the time frame for a winch overhaul regardless the brand if you actually use it.

    Was it ups? Could be delayed by that massive avalanche in Montana that shut down the tracks for 2 days.

    I'm really going to meet you guys and leverage your ideas. I don't know where I'd relocate that solenoid. I do know where I'd put a quick power disconnect though.

    I love it. Going to have to upgrade to a full plate at some point, but that US offroad bumper was absolutely a good purchase.
