How roomy would you rate the double cab? Is it spacious enough for a few full-size adults???

I love my 2006 double cab!! Yes, I think it is quite roomy in the back as long as you dont have some long legged bastards sitting up front that slide their seats all the way back. It will fit 2 adults very comfortably in the back. Might get a little tight with 3 full-sized though but still comfortable enough to get to your destination.:D I would probably rate it a 7 out of 10. I mean its not no Dodge full-sized king cab!! Those have like sofas in the back!!!

I am 6'6" and no adult is going to comfortably sit behind me. IMO the back seat is made for kids, or adults on short trips.

I've had 5 (counting driver) in mine, nobody really large, but we all made it fine. Would not want to go on a 6 hour trip but occasionally is fine.

    LMAO @ jbob...

I was curious overall... Some big changes in my shopping list have happened in the past three months:

In November I would have certainly purchased a Silverado Extended cab. December, had you asked me, I would have been driving a Tundra.

January rolls around and I realize a full-size is too much truck for me, and a Tacoma would be PERFECT for my needs: Especially and Access Cab. Then I realize I need room for friends / future kids, so the Double cab becomes appealing (for the first time in my life).

Now I'm looking at Toyota DC (Long or Standard bed) and the Honda Ridgeline (more room in the back seat... leather, nav, heated mirrors, moon roof, power rear window, dual zone climate...) has caught my interest (but not my eye... it's not a pretty truck by any means).

Depends on the adults. I'm 5-8, my GF is 5-3 and we're fine. Haven't heard many complaints from anyone yet, but I haevn't had any 6-foot plus folks in the back yet. Even my buddy (6') and his wife in the back (5'7) were fine. So, it's roomy enough if you're not talking NBA or NFL.

My son is 6'3" and he doesn't fit very well. Usually he sits up front if the ride is more than a few minutes long. Under say 5'8" you could probably get a couple of back seaters to ride ok. I'm right at 6 foot and if there was sufficient room for my feet under the seat I might go for a short ride but I'd hate to spend more than about 30 minutes back there. My F150 Supercrew had great rear seat leg room.
If your looking for more room in back you better look at full size trucks.

My 5' 10" 14 year old daughter sits comfortably in the back seat with plenty of leg room.

Little feet fit nicely under the seat. Big feet do not. That and sitting behind someone short in the front seat where the seat can be moved up does help.
