I have only had a few points in life were I was drinking too much, college and when I lived in Virgina. But I have almost 3 years with out a cigarette. I was a 2 pack a day smoker for about 12 years. I hope booze is easier than smokes to give up. I hope it works out for you. Good luck.

our basement flooded last night after my room mate tried out his new "invention" for the washing machine. which means from now on when we do laundry, we have to sit and watch it to make sure it doesn't spew water everywhere again (seriously, 40 gallons all over the basement). Does that not sound like the most boring thing ever! if i have to sit and watch my laundry wash, how am i suppose to do that without a cooler of beer next to me! i cant just sit and watch the laundry sober! i guess i'll have to wear dirty clothes till next month...

My laundry drain pipe drained slow, so I rigged the washer to drain into the utility sink. That worked well for a while, until the sink overflowed. I have since fixed the issue by cutting out the sections and installed some ABS with clean-outs.

With all that downtime you should learn how to weld. I could use someone to run chase for me in Mexico.

well, our water was draining by the side of the house collecting in a pool that was wearing away the foundation. so david (roomie) rigs up this elaborate pvc pipe contraption with filters and pumps and has it going into our sewer line, which is in the ceiling of the basement. we thing the filter wasn't letting water through fastenough and it got backed up and spewed all over evertyhing. it sucked. we're still trying to get everything dry
