Guess I'll pick up some gas for the snowblower on the way home..

 

I already told the boss I'm leaving early. For the first time in 2 years I am going to ride my sled in HENNIKER!!! Holy shit

 

Everybody at my work knows I live ten mins away.......plus I am 1 of 2 here with a truck.........I have no excuse lol

 

I'm lucky, my boss is a snow lover and snowmobiler so he understands me... LOL

 

Think yesterday was 4 for us. We are going in to July this year.

Down here, since my wife is a Kindergarten teacher, there is a day that they can only go to, but it's not into July. It's sometime in June... I think in the twenty somethings, regardless of how many days they'd have to make up because of snow.

 

When I was out in Hood River, Oregon they had the school shut down for 5 days straight, by the time I left they had missed 15 days of school at the local school...

 

We're up to June 20th right now.

My understanding is they start running into union issues with too many days. Which I've never understood because they're working the same amount of days in the end. I'll withhold my full opinion on the unions.

 

My CB was lit up today on my way in. I keep it tuned to the same channel as the town garage and they were chattering all over the place about various cars off the roads.

 

That sounds about right.

I have noticed that the quality of the union depends heavily on the quality of the leadership of the union.

 

I drove by the 55 car pileup on 93 this morning headed to work. It was a complete shit show. I left my house at 4am got to town around 6:30 . Traffic sucked !

My old man is a manager at a Wally World and he says every storm, there are at least 5 idiots that come in to buy 60 inch TVs

Not specifically, but saw rain yesterday and cold temps last night so I put 2 and 2 together. The issue was that the salters didn't get out this morning. They salted last night when it was still raining so it all just washed off and the water froze. They needed to be out at like 3-4 AM this morning.

 

.My mommy came to help with sick giblets, so that means truck time...
