I like the clean install these provide... oh and the bluetooth/app connectivity.

Depending on the amount and type of accessories you want to attach to it, Feniex makes a more affordable switch...that is actually waterproof too. It only accommodates up to 3.5A per switch, but it is pretty clean for around $99. There are better places to mount it, but I didn't want my passenger to be able to access my emergency lights. I have a couple friends that do the "OOOH WHAT DOES THIS BUTTON DO?!?!"

I found this thread too, looks like a good, cost effective method without a fancy controller: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/ongoing-small-batch-bussmann-rtmr-5relay-10fuse.400458/

That is an awesome thread. I actually saved a few of OP's pictures for wiring ideas. Currently, my blue seas fuse box is wired to that Emergency Response Lights master switch under my Feniex 4200 to deal with all the random lights coming from around the truck. In the future, I'm going to make a separate mount for the bussman relay/fuse box for the rest of my accessories I plan to install. This will go along with the dual battery setup that is in the future though. If I did it again, I'd go with the bussman over the blueseas since it has mounts for the relays. My relays are kind of just floating/zip tied in, and it makes my OCD angry.

EDIT: Also, the Amazon prime page for Feniex says the buttons can handle up to 5A per button. I emailed them directly to verify since their own website still says 3.5A.

Somebody enlighten me about that Fenix switch panel, is it BUS based or do you need to route a cable for every switch?

There are 8 wires on the back. + and - for power and 6 other wires that are just positive. So you press the button, and it simply applies power to whatever you have attached to it. It will need a relay/fuse attached to it somewhere near your battery.

Ahh I see, so you still need to run separate wires.

The switchpro is BUS based isn't it, so you only run the BUS cable to the engine bay?

I'm not sure about the switchpro. From what I can see in the pictures, the wiring from the button goes directly to your engine bay so you can connect power to your devices from there. The Feniex switch powers directly from the controller itself. You essentially could achieve the same thing with the Feniex by extending all the wiring into your engine bay, and connecting your devices there.

Disclaimer: I'm not a professional. I just play one on TV. Everything I know about this stuff is from youtube or this forum

Also, already got the reply from Feniex:

"Thank you for your inquiry about our products. The recommended output is 4 amp's, anything above that I would suggest using a 4 pin relay."

    Lol so it's not 3.5 or 5, it's actually 4. Love it.
