So I got another quote from a shop the other day for a re route and exhaust. $530... Am I missing something or does this again seem a little extreme? Maybe I am asking for too much, but I really just want to let her breath and do a re route. What are your thoughts? I don't mind paying for good work but I can think of many things to spend 5 bills on other than how my truck sounds.

no thats way too much. We did it on Project Sandstorm and it was like 2 hours of labor and 2 sections of pre-bent stainless and we tig welded it. URD announced last night on Facebook that their pipes are shipping too.

@tubbsisland - is SDHQ going to be selling the Thorley downpipes and midpipe when they're released?

Oh man, please please post pictures and thoughts on power/sound, and if you could get a sound clip of idle and a drive by that would be fantastic.

I'll post up some pre/post install pics. I don't expect the sound to change much with the factory muffler, and chopped tailpipe. Cat back is 2 or 3 months out, after I fill the empty holes in my bumpers.

I work in Poway, might have to check them out. Any idea what problems this will cause for passing smog here in Cali? Or are you planning to switch back to factory exhaust when Smog time comes? I'm super interested in this, but don't want to deal with Smog issues.

I'll try and get a couple pics later- Shouldn't be any issue with smog since it was just a reroute to get the "tailhook" out of the way so that I can install my rear @Pelfreybilt skid...

You won't have any problems with smog unless you mess with your catalytic converters or your O2 sensor. All the re route will do is bend your pipe around the transfer case for more clearance.
