Can anyone with the tall relentless bars measure how the distance between the bottom of the bed and the bottom of the tent? They're a tad taller than I want, but if they'll give enough room to open the lid on my yeti 65 at the very front of the bed.....

Measure from bottom of bed to top of bed. Add about 10" or so

Tall are only 8 inches over bed height. I can't imagine you would have enough room to fully open the lid, but you could get it partially open.

Is that 8" to the bottom of the bar or the top of the bar?

I haven't tried it with my Yeti. I have a Plano 1919 that's similar in size (though a bit shorter) and I had no trouble accessing things inside it. But there's no way it can be fully opened. Had I seen this last night I could tell you for sure how much it can be opened. If no one else has give a definitive answer by the time I get home tonight I can check for you.

@hobiecat111629 just remembered this so I was stuck doing it in the dark. Bottom of the bar. You'll get a little more to the bottom of the tent. Enough room to get a hand in and pull something out but that's about it. It's a 65 btw.

Saw a pack of 4 subies below Chocolate Thunder yesterday. 1 was actually cruising in the whoops back towards Hammertown and catching a Rzr.

Hey guys looking into a tepui ayer. Does anyone have a picture of them sitting up inside. Just want to make sure its big enough for two people. The fact its on 39" tall worries me compared to most tents at 45".

Its not mounted currently and under a bunch of crap lol. I'm about 6'2", and I can baaaaarely sit up directly in the middle of the tent. I usually have to hunch over if I want to sit up as my head will be brushing the roof at the ends. If you're wanting to have a tea party hangout in your Tepui, I advise against the Ayer. In other news, WTS AYER, only used like 3 times.
