Weird. Nothing about the supercars really does it for me. I'm trying to think of what I would want that wasn't a small pickup. I test drove a 1941 edition jeep. That was cool. Maybe a vintage mini with a surfboard in top. I was driving around a few hours ago and some doucher pulled up to me at a red light. Ford F-350 on gaudy 20s and retard rubber. He gunned it when it turned green, and i thought for real, nothing about that monstrosity is appealing. I can't find it useful in any scenario. So my brain response was "that's nice dear..." something about walking out to my parked Tacoma and seeing it's small stature, but it's over the top capability (mind you I'm not installing some dipshit led kit and pressure washing my engine bay, or beasting though the forest like a 16 year old kid who got the truck for his sweet 16) that's is incredibly satisfying. This kid at my work has a giant f350, same build as the stoplight guy, yet I had more clearance on my 01, even under the diff. Just kinda really only feeling tacomas. I'm a fanboy. Whatever.

I'm pretty damn fond of my Turd Gen. Its my first Taco and 4x4, its a lot of fun. I too look at mine often. In fact, I usually turn my chair a few times a day in my office to look out at her...

got the first MT Pro delivered in Texas, and i gotta say it is all that and worth the 3 1/2 month wait. bought at MSRP. at 3800mi, motor is breaking in, mpg going up, and everything chassis is coming together. never thought i'd love a truck but i do. it's totally great.

Yeah Bro... already posted... Love my Taco...I've had it since 9/15 only one complaint....

tic tic tic goes the dashboard.... that just started a few weeks ago...

Not my first 4x4 and not my first truck... but its my favorite in both categories. I'm now pissed I didn't get a 1st gen when they were new.

I just bought my first Taco the week before Christmas. Its the first time in 40 years that I'm not driving a Ford. It seems like I went from a 3/4 ton to a 3/4 scale truck. I've put about 4K on it since my purchase (I have a long commute). So far I'm very satisfied. I've never owned a Toyota product before so I don't really know what to expect. First impressions are pretty favorable.

I am happy with mine . 5000 miles and it does what I want it to do , and does it cheaply .It also fits nicely in the garage with the wife's SUV with room to get in and out without doors hitting each other . My only worries are of reading too much about problems others have had here on TW because I may get them .
