I have definitely considered this. But there are a few reasons I am thinking about not removing it, or not removing it yet. For one, I sometimes like to take corner rather spiritedly, heh. So sway bar is nice there. And also that I still on stock suspension with 178K on it. So it's really soft. Even with the sway bar, you can feel those corners. I was considering removing it once I get new suspension.

Though I guess at least for now, I can remove it and see of it is. I have read such mixed reviews on removing it. Seems there are direhards on both sides.

If it helps I drive a really aggresive S turn road every day, and as you I drive "spiritedly" :D and my current suspension is SHOT to hell...drivers side Boss Toytec coilover is leaking fluid....safe to assume more fluid than whats left in the shock (got brand new Kings waiting for a day I can catch a break from work to install) and Im fine....havent felt like my trucks gonna be doing cartwheels

Seems like I can use you as a good comparison then. Perhaps I will take it off for now then. If I decide it's shit, I can always put it back on and then replace that end link. But if I am ok with it off, then that's one part I don't need to spend money on. And less is more, often enough.

Oh I like that benefit. Since modding tends to gradually plump it up, it'll be nice to remove something for once.

This. The one dude from MD drove up to Rausch with his removed on stock suspension and he said he was terrified. Cant really even compare that to someone with a blown aftermarket shock, they have stiffer springs regardless.

    Did you film that underwater?

You can replace all those bushings.

I just ordered a full poly replacement set (including the two D shaped ones on the crossmember) for about $15 from Energy Suspensions.

I hate the feeling of not having one (my passenger end link exploded a couple of months ago and I have been driving like that since).

While I have gotten used to the feeling of not having one, driving at highway speeds on mountain passes is a sketchy feeling.

    It's my Sunday project.

If I can cleanly open up a pair of oem ones (as I was able to cleanly open an oem one, and broke the two aftermarket ones) I will probably start taking orders and make some. But, if the oem one I got open was a lucky one and it is impossible to repeat it multiple times I probably wont be able to unfortunately :(

Here is the aftermarket one. Cracked but was able to get it off and salvage it. It'll be a placeholder while I get others.

It's weird. I'd think the aftermarket glue would be a lot easier to get apart but the oem one was nice.

But overall they both look like shit from a foot away. Hopefully I can repeat it on oem ones!

Opened the hood up as far as it would go with plenty of clearance. These units are pretty small though. Might not be able to say the same for a 4-light pod in the first position. The second would probably be fine.

The lean is not too bad in the corners, makes em more fun if you ask me.
Its funny when passengers dont expect it too, body roll scared the piss out of my friends a few times :p

Well not that it matters, nothing is coming off. Well mostly nothing. A bolt head snapped off, one of the small ones that hold the sway bar to w/e it is holding it too. The end link bolts. I do not understand AT ALL. Every single one, the bolt spins with the stud it's on. Loosening for minutes on end and it's "loosened" but not really loose and the nut will never come off. I don't understand.

Oh wtf it wasn't like that before. Maybe that's YT messing with it? It wasn't like that to start.

What bushings? Please spoon feed me everything. I am an ignorant. I see no bushings. There are ends with bolts and metaly bits that go between things.
The only bushings I know of are on the sway bar itself.
And like I said, it doesn't matter even if I wanna replace things, nothing is coming off. I have had enough of this shit lately. It's, quite frankly, the main reason I was considering taking the bar off. I cannot stand dealing with these spinning studs lately and I've broken so many bolt heads. Even switching to 6 point sockets only helped somewhat.

If I can't get any of these things off, to change it or to remove it, I am about to say fuck it and cut the entire thing off. I've had it with these parts lately. Fuck salt belt trucks.

People just don't trust vehicles in general. Even with all the modern engineering, people seem to not trust their cars even going straight...Give them any body roll, and they get cautious. Tires alone these days are fantastic, and people act like rollovers are an imminent threat.
