Yeah their Customer service is pretty great. I went there with some TRD beadlocks I wanted to get mounted but hadn't bought the special lugs for yet, because I'd called and they said they had some that fit...dropped the truck off, went and got lunch, came back, their lugs didn't fit it turns out, no charge, told me to come back with the right lugs and they'd give me discount for wasting my time. That's exactly what I did (walked across the street and ordered from Toyota) and went back to them.

 

Ordering some Red Line gear oil, off the top of anyones head, how many gallons needed for front and rear diffs? I wanna say last time I looked I would need to get three 1 gallon jugs...

 

1.6 qts front 3 qts rear

Yeah. Get three. Then I'll use the left over to do all mine and maybe someone else's

Seriously though i think the rear is 3.1 QUARTS and the front is 1.4 QUARTS.
Thats just off the top of my head, so not positive.

 

Oh good call lol. Ohhhh you know what, I think I'm thinking Transfer Case+ both diffs maybe?

 

tc also doesn't use shit. get a case of quarts and you will have plenty left over.

 

also I think you need lsd additive for your rear (sport with 8.4)? not sure if you need it for the others also.

I didfront, rear, and transfer case a few weeks back. I bought 7 quarts and have about a quart left over. So if you bought 2 gallons you would be fine. 1 gallon = 4 quarts.

Any of you ever ship your dogs? Or fly with them? My dogs are too big for cabin travel, but trying to figure out the cargo travel is a pain.

Seems like they just get tossed on any random flight to the destination, not necessarily our flight. Weird. My dogs are my kids.

 

My wife and I fostered a dog from Kauai and brought it to the Oakland SPCA. Big ol' lab mix. Did fine in the cargo crate and was all good afterwards.

But I hear you. I couldn't put Daisy through that. She's a wuss away from me and would guaranteed freak out
