    You don't have coils in the rear. You want an add a leaf instead of the blocks. On second thought, have a shop do your install...

    Designed specifically for 3rd gen, I think 887 gives you 2.5'' lift up front and 888 3'' with 5100s. Call Marie at headstrong and she'll get you straight.

    :rofl: Don't feel bad man. I was once in your shoes. It would be a good idea to maybe reach out to TW members to assist you in your build maybe. Offer some cold beverages and pizza or something. I had 6 guys show up to help me lmao. This is an amazing community. Everyone is always willing to help.

    Agreed, lifted 6 of these trucks (2 were mine) they aren't hard, hardest part is lining up the AAL, if you go that route I suggest an extra bolt as the fine thread one's provided tend to strip easy.

    Yeah the AAL is a PAIN. Make sure you have new center pins for the AAL. You'll obviously need longer ones. These can be picked up an any local 4x4 shop. No need to pay for $10 shipping on a $2 part. Make sure your aal is pointing in the correct position as well.

    Both give you about 2.5" of lift. 888 have a higher load rating allowing for more goodies up front...or vice versa.

    Yes... 885's are coil springs and that is what actually lifts your truck, it's the springs and NOT the taller shocks.. I have a 2016 and the 885s... you can go stiffer 887 or 888 but going to get a rougher ride.

    Look at YouTube for videos on installing the coils without a compressor. You essentially use a floor jack and the lower control arm as the spring compressor. Much safer.

    Get a digital angle meter (inclinometer) and measure your drivetrain's angles before doing the lift, and after. Don't use a phone, as the phone's side buttons (or other protrusions) will throw off the measurement.

    If you end up having any vibration issues down the line, you'll have a baseline to refer to. Basically measure all of the angles that are talked about in this video.

    Ok lemme check... and..... stand corrected but then Taco Bro-lean = front higher than rear with Icon AALs... 887s are 5mm taller (uncompressed??)

    Yep.

    886 and 888 are heavier rate coils, the 883, 884, 885, 887 are all otherwise identical outside of overall height.

    Don't quote me on the 888, I haven't looked at the third gen specific coil specs whatsoever, I just remember that was rated as a heavy load coil option.

    Unless your lift height is at or exceeds 3", then no, not needed.

    2.5-2.75" of lift and generally unnecessary for alignment reasons. For performance reasons, though, still an option.

    Always is a bit exaggerated.

    9/10 people on TW would gain nothing by buying UCAs on their lifts.
