So its like $300 for the 5100s then the additional $386. $686 isn't that bad.

No worries man. Also read the fine print for the OME Coils. Just go 887. Boom done.

    887 - 2" lift standard coils - Stock weight
888 - Medium 2" lift - With bumper only or winch only
    886 - Heavy - 2" lift - With bumper and winch

Honestly if it's for the look it's not worth it. And I will throat punch someone that claims it adds resale value I work part time at the largest auto auction and anything lifted that comes across the block sells "as is" and for less.

To be fair, there's a lot of guys with driveline vibes on stock trucks, too. Modding comes with risk, luckily the aftermarket supports and provides for that with shims, spacers, etc,. that make it possible to mitigate most issues, and not at great expense or effort.

You guys missed my point. My homework is done. 887 3rd gen 5100 at 0 1/4" spacer and progressive 3 leaf. Im saying that after watching this video and referring back to the guy who got a driveline vib and is chasing it around raises concerns that maybe I dont want to lift my truck.

I don't know what is being missed?

You can install those on your truck and be fine, and take it all off and put it on the same truck in your neighbors driveway and his truck can be completely different.

Parts have nothing to do with it.

I had zero vibration/drivetrain issues after the initial lift. Recently added new leaf springs (All Pro Expedition) and that's when my headaches started. Wish I knew of all that I know now, and had taken the measurements I had suggested to OP prior to doing my own lifts. Now I'm dealing with this, which, according to both people online and various Toyota-specializing suspension shops, happen to a random number of Tacomas and no one really knows why. The same parts on one truck are fine, while the same parts on another truck result in the headache I'm going through. The only consolation is that now that I've gone through some edumacation on the subject, I realize this is a game of math/numbers, and I'm good at math. This bitch will get fixed!

Drivetrain angles are everything. I recently read/heard someone compare them to tuning guitar strings - all of them have to be just right, because a mistake in one will affect the entire song. And those angles will be affected by everything from the lift parts, to the tires, to the amount of gas in the tank, to just how much one presses the skinny pedal. The trick is finding that golden middle ground where all angles remain within their respective, optimal ranges, under all driving conditions.
