My plan is to secure the wire to the backside of the hood as close to the lip as possible and another location and have enough slack in between to eliminate that issue. I don't have them wired yet. I'm still working on my wireless controller project.

There is likely a place on the bottom of that bolt to insert an Allen head wrench or two flat sides at the tip of that bolt that you use to secure it while you loosen the nut. I'd use plenty of penetrant, maybe even a little bit of heat from a torch. Should be able to get that nut off.

Maybe. But even if that's the case, I don't have allens. I give up. I'll let the damn thing rattle until it hopefully breaks itself off.

Not really. I personally have a small selection of tools, and there are a bunch of tools here in the garage, but it's a really mixed selection with parts missing or in NY. I don't even know what half these specialized tools are. There may be stuff I don't know is here. I don't care though. I am done with this. I will just have to play my music even louder than before, all the time. I am sure passerbys all think my truck is a POS anyway because it's dirty and "old", so I may as well include some extra noises for them to verify their belief.

I wouldn't feel comfortable with taking apart my motor or anything but I've done all the upgrades and fixes on my truck by myself so far

Is the MIL on? If so, have you had the codes read yet?

Do you mean mileage? If so yes.... other than that, I don't have any codes being displayed

Sorry, around here more common to use CEL, I'm used to MIL, Toyota calls it a Malfunction Indicator Lamp. So no MIL or CEL, okay. Maybe a fuel filter or fuel pump going bad keeping it from getting enough fuel?

Nope, just pried with a tiny screw driver all the way around.

I'm not sure if it is even worth it because the orange lense lights up the whole lamp when the sun hits it and you can't even tell its colormatched.

The sway bar studs have hex heads in the middle so you can capture the stud and spin the nut with a box wrench.

Also, the damn snow won't go away... my driveway is rapidly becoming an obstacle in its own right...

    Stuff. Also things.
That's a great looking truck, Zane.

Of course, I'm pretty partial to those F5s!
