On that note I ordered BP-51's from @HeadStrong Off-Road Yesterday. Her pricing and customer service are crazy good.

First part of this, I think you are looking for the term Dielectric Grease. Same stuff you can get the single use bags of (about the size of condom) at most chain automates stores. Typically on the package, it implies putting it on the base of light bulbs for that electrical connection to keep contacts from oxidizing.

I thought scs uses proprietary lugs that only fit scs wheels. They sre super skinny or something like that.

@AWilson013 I can get you a link after I get out from the doctor. Gorilla work fine.

@Smar969905 it's not dielectric straight, because I know what that is and the name would stick. It had some number associated to it, probably one of those aircraft lubes in my links.

Which SCS wheels did you get? I picked up my F5s at Mule yesterday and they're getting mounted today! I'm going to use mcgard spline drive tuner lug nuts. I've used them in the past on my STI and currently on my TRD bead lock style wheels.

You all will like this one.....got home at 1630 from mailing my Switch-Pro control panel back for an update. I got the TPMS light on the way home. Checked the tires and right rear is leaking. Can hear it! No problem. Swap it out right? But then I can't find my 8 spline socket. Looks like I never got it back from Toyota at last oil change. I usual make sure but...
Air compressor doesn't work (ran through the Switch-Pro. Could bypass but running out of time (it's after 1700hrs by now).
Drove on near flat to Les Schwab, Tire Factory, and am now at Discount Tire where they actually have an 8 spline.
I guess it's still better than a broken uca on the trail.

    Follow up.
The Discount Tire guys stayed 30min after closing to fix the puncture. Didn't even charge me, and I didn't buy mine through them.

I had a guy in Monroe do both my sliders and CMC, NR Fabrication. The owner Nate is a good guy and got it all done in about 3 hours.

I got the 17" F5s with 4.30" backspacing or whatever it is. Matte Gun Metal.

I would have loved to go through Mule but the shipping from Vin is considerably less (okay, only $20 less) than the tax. Figure in the fuel to and from Issaquah and the cheap skate in me just cannot do it.
