Thanks. If I do I'll probably replace with @rrentrop stickers. I like the badges, just not fake chrome. I want all black on my quicksand. Might try the plastic dip.

I personally hate all badges on car, whats even worse are that they are chrome. Cheap and ugly looking. Thats the first thing i do on any car i get, completely debadge it.

I also like the cleaner look. Below is what I've done to mine.
    • Debadged Tacoma door emblems
    • Swapped bedside decals for black ones
    • Previous mods: debadged tailgate V6 emblem and dealer decal, add @rrentrop black TACOMA tailgate inserts

I like what you did to your truck. Now if you could debage your grill it would be perfect.

I actually don't mind the old-school look of the Toyota in the Pro grill. In general, cleaner is better in my opinion!

Just my opinion but if you're going to debage I would go with a non-Toyota grill. By the way what kind & size tires do you have?

keep the tape on the pillars. But, just my preference. Looks good either way.

Thanks, I decided too. Especially now that I have dark tint.

    I really appreciate it!

I see a lot of folks who plasti dip their badges. I like the black look, but don't really favor plasti dip. Who is debadging, then painting, then re-badging? Is it hard to reinstall the painted badges?

I got my 2016 TRD O/R used with 9k miles...and the only wear on it I could see was that the doorsill on the drivers side had scuffs and scratches in the paint. Soooo right off the bat I went on Amazon and ordered some doorsill protectors...and it turned out they were OEM parts...like a plastic textured strip with an adhesive backing. The fit is amazing and rounds over the lip. Now, with them being OEM they have a toyota logo on them, but it fits, and its hidden unless the doors are open.

That looks great. Does anyone know if the 4x4 badge on the Tacoma is the same one from the Tundra? I've only found the ones from Tundra for sale online and I can't tell if those are bigger than the ones on the Tacoma.

I think they're all the same. The part number I bought was 75473-0C050.

Thanks! I also agree about the V6 badge. It is 2017 and these trucks are close to $40k, it's time to stop telling people we have a V6.

Have you taken out the logo from your steering wheel? Tailgate insert? Grill?
