4 sessions and finally done. Big part of the holdup was I got busy last winter after the line work. I refuse to get tatted in warmer months.

I'd say no need to bitch. It may be a bit of a drive but Copeland in Brockton has always taken good care of us.

Is that oem tonneau a nightmare to remove?

I did a set of Reese bi-fold curved ones from Tractor Supply. The problem I have is I can't easily get my tonneau off because of the weight and the snowblower I have is just too big to fit behind it with the tailgate up. The extender will make my driving a whole lot more comfortable if nothing else. The last time I drove with the snowblower on the back even though I was driving the speed limit, every car that came up to me sat 6" off my bumper. I actually made a point of pulling over and waving someone by and was rewarded with the finger.

It's more a weight issue. It's one bolt to remove it from the truck once you unclick it with all the handles, but it's really a two person job to do it without risking damage to either the tonneau or the truck itself.

I cheaped out, bought the metal transitions and used 2x6's. That said I don't have the tonneau so they pretty much fit in the bed as would the blower.

    And yup people are stupid.

Yeah, without the tonneau, it'd be a non-issue. It's a perfect Catch-22. If I keep the tonneau on the truck, I don't end up with a bed full of snow, but I can't transport a snowblower. I pull it off, I have a bed full of snow, and I have to shovel it out so that I can move the blower.

Morning everyone. No traffic on the way into Providence for work. Which was great. And the wife's work told them to stay home so she gets to shovel today. Not sure if that's good or bad :notsure:

No snow here yet. Supposed to be 2+ inches per hour around the evening commute, though.

    I like your style.
I went vintage, though, because I'm po'
By which I mean "I'm too cheap to pay somebody else to work on my trucks, so I bought something old enough that I can work on it without needing specialized tools."
