    Have you ever cut sheet metal on a truck w/< 500 miles? It may hurt not sure. I did see a sweet 2nd gen gen in valley cottage Ny and I'm thinking about cutting the rear quarters. It had a nice wrap around rear bumper.

    Well, if you're going to run n 31's there's no point in doing a lift IMO. It hurts making the first cut no matter how many miles you have. It's cake after that ;)

    Was wondering if it was worth it?
    Can I run 33s with out regearing?
    What suspension do you have?

    Regearing for 33s is not mandatory, but it is a good idea.
    I have Kings with Icon billet UCAs, and Dakar's with 12" Kings in the rear.

    I have an auto. I'm on 35's and regeared to 4.56. You CAN run 33's without a Regear. When I was on 33's and stock gears my trans wasn't shifting correctly. I would have to shift from OD to 4th back to OD manually to get it to go into OD.

    255/85/16 or 255/80/17 are something to look at too. Narrow 33's. Much less clearance issues.

    All the details of my build are listed at the top of my build page.

    @steele-taco

    You do NOT need to spend this kind of money... it does look pretty though.

    If you want to run decent trails at Rausch, you need a lift, tires, skids, and sliders, minimum IMO. If you don't have a locker you'll need the occasional tug.

    On a 2nd gen with the proper back spacing on the wheels, you can run 255's without rubbing. Not sure about 3rd gens.
