Was actually gonna go tundra ebc rotors with tundra calipers and green stuff pads for tundras haha. How's the stopping power with the normal taco green pads?

Oh right, I've heard thats great too. The stopping power is excellent, I've only had to hard brake like 2 times since putting them on, but it stopped on a dime pretty much

Hoping I get a little more aggressive braking power when I do the tundra stuff. It's just okay now

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.

Hey bud! everyones still waiting for your response in the DV recovery thread! haha

A lot of roads leading to big bear/Mammoth require vehicles even with 4x4 to have chains with them in the vehicle, even if not using. CHP was checking.

Problem there is insulting all those fucking retards is a good way to get banned. :)

Didn't know they were checking. Most signs I see say except 4x4. Although that's before most of the extreme snow lately.

People actually arguing the guy who went alone and got into trouble was smart and "well prepared." I lack the mental gymnastics to achieve that idiocy.

Yeah I'm planning to head up Saturday, and I see it's supposed to snow. So I figured I would get some chains in case they at least asked for them up there.

When I was up in Big Bear a few weeks ago during the huge snow storm they had (biggest in the last 7 years), they did not require chains to be on if you had 4x4. They did require that you have them in the truck though just in case. I showed the guy the bag and he waved me through. I managed to get around just fine without them (in 4hi the entire time). There were a couple of sketchy moments in the late afternoon when the snow was coming down real hard and people were stuck all over the roads left and right (even with chains on). If it's not that bad up there this weekend then I'm sure you'll be fine. But I'd have them with me just in case they ask to see that you do.
