Exactly. It can be very easy or extremely challenging. It would help if their trail system was graded more consistently. The blue-black we did was actually easier than the one blue.

For sure. It's understated, the real costs of this hobby. Is it strictly not worth it? Of course not. Wheeling is fun. It's cool seeing what your truck can do in any given situation. But too much attention is given to how enjoyable it is and too little to the overall costs.

It's even worse with 1st gens. The "1st gens can do anything" meme is awful.

Then there are the shades in between:
    Green > Green-blue > Blue > Blue-black > Black > Red > Fall off the earth

    If you say so.

Yeah there is a lot of variety there. But no one seems to like doing greens. Too easy/not enough fun for most guys.

I just joined the site so I'm not familiar with mod days. I just bought wheels and tires. 17x9 Pro Comp wheels and BFG Ko2's 275/65. I bought load range E, but I'm not sure if I should return them for C. I don't know if E is too much tire for a Taco. I also would like to do Billstein 5100's all around 2.5 in front and 1.5" aal in the rear. That's what I was thinking anyway. I'm not totally sure because I have no experience with this kind of mod. That's kind of why I was looking for someone local with experience. My goal is to do a moderate lift as it's still my everyday ride.

How much is the lift you're looking at? Is it on toytec?

Honestly I hadn't priced it all out yet with everything else I'll need besides the Billsteins and Aal. I need a consultant. Haha! That's why I'm here. I had been looking at Wheelers.
