You can get a used driveshaft on ebay, but it would still be a good idea to install new u-joints to prevent failure resulting in what you have now.
What you need is the differential flange yoke, rear drive shaft slip yoke, and correct u-joint. If you want new, you can get the flange yoke and u-joint (get one that can be greased) from Spicer or from a dealer.
I guessed on the engine/trans, but here is a parts list. You can change the vehicle to ensure it sets up for the right engine/trans.

Another failure from to much grease !!

That had to making noise before it failed in such a catastrophic fashion

Can you explain this? Every thread I've read about greasing says to grease until it squeezes out - is this not true for some parts? I'm going to be doing mine for the first time soon, and I don't want to mess it up. Which zerk should only get a few pumps vs. pumping until it oozes?

Yeah wyoming what do you mean about too much grease doing.that??? Looks pretty dry to me... obviously the slip joint you dont grease till its oozing but definitely not a ujoint. Are you referring to the slip joint causing that failure??

Or are we not catching sarcasm here? Lol. If thats the case id be really suprised that a dry ujoint would do that.

@kellaceae21 like i mentioned dont over do tje slip joint but the u joints you're gunna want to get em good. With that said lets see what wyoming has to say here when he replys. He offers good advice on here and respect his input on things.

How do you think it happened ??

    Dry Joint

Needle bearings start getting pounded to metal dust.

Now you have play on all 4 journals by now this has to be banging and making all sorts of noise .

Till the load is just to much!!

Scary part that might have been cracked for quite some time before it failed in such a complete fashion

As it seems no problems were noticed till the drive shaft was on the ground

Just seems like typically the joint itself goes in that scenario and you see lots of wear on it, just looked kinda different to me i guess...

You must remember some people are clueless !!

Some of us pick up in the smallest differences

    Or

working 80 hours a week with a new born in the house lucky to get a hour of sleep at one time.
