It's was offered to me... so I can only assume
It may not come with it stock from factory but I am sure they will upgrade it for a chunk of change

    Hell if I know.

I was told the technology package was only available in TRDs.

But maybe she meant that was the limitation of their inventory, and not what was possible as far as configuration goes.

We have different configurations available in Canada compared to the US.

I have come to understand that. Either or you can't go wrong, you will love your truck.

The ride in the sport is terriable, its stiff and unforgiving due to the suspension with that rim and tire combo. The SR5 has the same suspension as the SR and limited and will be a little more gentle on the ride, while the OR will be the softer of the lot. If you can get an OR you will be happy. But... if you cant I would buy the SR5 and build what I want.
Link to bunch of people hating there sport and wanting a different model.

Between the two, I didn't see anything in the sport that I really had to have. I'd probably consider an Offroad over the SR5, but it's probably not a big preference.

one thing you can't easily add (if at all) to the sr5 is the push button start and the spots to touch the door handle on the outside to unlock it.

I originally didnt think I'd like not having a key but have gotten so used to it and really enjoy the convenience of never taking it out of my pocket. I've actually gotten so used to it that I've just about ripped the door handle off of my wife's car several times when I forget there's not a smart key.

yeah i'd like to have it. i get tired of my keys banging into the steering column or my leg. would be nice to just get into the truck and go, since the phone also connects wirelessly. it would be neat to have on a new truck, but nothing worth trading in a good truck for.

What about the cloth seats? Are the ones in the TRD any nicer?

Yea. They are. Overall the sport is definitely a cosmetic and technological step up from the SR5. I plan on keeping my truck for awhile. I wanted the smart key, the blind spot, reverse sense, etc because in 5 years from now when that shits everywhere I'm gonna want it even more. It's already pretty wide spread. I just felt like the SR5 was not in line with what I wanted to keep me happy not only when I drove it home, but 5-8 years down the line.

I guess the flip side of that is all of the tech could break on me. Oh well - I still like it.

Maybe I'm old school but I like having a physical key. I've had rentals that have the push start and crap and always end up hating it. I think I'm one of the few wackos though lol.

I honestly didn't think I'd love it as much as I do. It took some getting used to but now i honestly find the physical key for my wife's car very annoying. Its one of those things that just works.

You can get the parking and lane sensors on the SR5. It's an upgrade with the appearance package. The rest is true as you can't get the smart key and the door handle.

I think it really depends what you came from before this as to what people can and can't live without. I came from a smaller car with very few extra features so the SR5 seems like a luxury. However, if I came from a car with more options I would for sure miss those. Just like I could never go back to a truck without these same features I have now.

100% agree. Came from a 4th Gen 4Runner Limited so I was honestly not even shopping the SR5s because I didn't want a truck with less tech than I had before. Actually ended up having to give up leather and power seats, but the brown Limited leather was not for me anyway...power seats would've been nice.
