    I wanna go to the beach, and I'm willing to drive anywhere in CA to do so. I know Pismo is nice, and Big Sur, is also beautiful. Any other suggestions?

    X2.....Pebble Beach looked damn good this weekend on CBS aswell.........lol like a 6 min drive from Carmel!!!!! and big sur is about 30 mins from carmel:D

    Come visit, but don't expect calm beaches in Big Sur, that's for sure.

    Pfeiffer Beach got washed out in the storms two weeks ago, now its just rocks and pure beauty.

    I went to the ProAm on Friday....followed Bill Murray and my boy Rocco for a bit and saw lots of big names on Spyglass before spending a couple of hours walking Pebble. What a course!

    I am not sure what you mean by calm? No waves? No crowds? No trash?

    Coronado Island always wins "Best Beach" and "Cleanest Beach" awards both locally and nationally.
